We are pleased to announce the launch of Protect-it XL - our new, large format rack guard.

Protect-it XL large format rack guards installed in a warehouse to protect pallet racking uprights

Key features of Protect-it XL include:

  • Single-piece, large format guard offering robust impact protection over a height of 500mm (19.7”)

  • Adaptable to fit open-back (e.g. roll-formed) and closed-back (e.g. tubular) racking uprights ranging from 70mm to 90mm (2.75” to 3.5”) wide

  • Easy installation with no tools or drilling. Simply push the Protect-it XL guard onto the rack upright and attach two high strength clips to the rear

  • Low purchase cost, quick installation and easy replacement make Protect-it XL a highly economical rack protection solution

  • Easily released from the upright for rack inspections

  • Suitable for use in cold stores down to -40°C

  • Protect-it rack guards have been used by industry leaders worldwide for over 15 years

  • Independently tested to comply with international racking standards.

The story behind Protect-it XL large format rack guards

Our Protect-it Stackable rack guards were released in 2004 and delivered world-first performance in plastic rack guards due to their patented, integrally moulded, curved energy absorbers. The modular nature of Protect-it Stackable (typically stacked 3 units high on an upright) provides versatility to accommodate a wide range of installation scenarios. Exceptional performance at an affordable price will ensure that our Stackable range continues to be the solution of choice for many customers. However, over the years we have received regular requests for a single-piece, large format rack guard solution. To meet this demand we have taken the patented impact absorbing technology that powers our Stackable guards and reworked it to create the new Protect-it XL large format rack guard range.
