Relieved family and colleagues cheered as a warehouse worker walked out unscathed after more than eight hours trapped beneath tonnes of cheese.
Forklift truck driver Tomasz Wiszniewski was feared dead when 18-metre high metal shelves carrying 20kg blocks of Cheddar and Red Leicester collapsed today.
But rescue teams using sniffer dogs and a drone found him alive under the mountain of cheese.
Tomasz, who is in his 30s and is due to get married later this year, was last night taken to hospital as a precaution.
