Do not assume that a rack protector will pass required impact testing.
Ask for proof and question the test methods.
Protect-it Pallet Rack Guards are tested and supervised by an independent authority.
We use the impact test specified by EN, FEM, SEMA, AS standards (a 400nm front impact up to a height of 400mm above the floor).
Most rack damage occurs on the sides and corners, so Protect-it Pallet Rack Guards are designed and tested to pass Front Impact, Corner Impact and Side Impact.
Impact testing in the video below was conducted in Germany in 2011 and shows no damage after and impact at a distance of approx 500mm from the base of the rack profile Testing was supervised by Mechanical Engineer, Dr U Weiner.
Test reports are avaibable for you to download from this website
